Nice matte fields! I bet the luster is excellent.

It is my coin but I'm going to guess 66, possibly higher...the luster really is over the top in hand.

took a second look at this one. the lighting glare could be hiding some discoloration in areas like the shoulder and in the field next to it. also on the lapel. on the rev field discoloration to the left of the O in ONE and multiple rim scratches.
my original thought was MS65RD possible + i think theres a chance it would grade MS64RD without better photos eliminating the glare

I think the coin is beautiful and will go with a solid MS-66. The whole coin on both sides is beautiful and the scratches on the coin are not in outstanding places. If the graders were in a good mood on the day they might show higher because of the year of the coin. Outstanding coins in those years are great if they have beautiful color like this coin. They may go up in grade. Anyways outstading coin.

Ended up in a 65rd slab. I own one far worse in a green label PCGS 66rd slab.

In this case I think the Trueview pic is pretty accurate.

w/coinfrog should have stayed with my original grade of MS65RD but I think the shadowing on the original photos caused me to drop it to 64 due to the shoulder but the TV doesn't show that flaw

65 seems fair after seeing the PCGS photos. I see at least 5+ bag marks, small black dot under LIB, some discoloration on the cheekbone and very slightly in the hair.
Beautiful cent though regardless. Congrats!

Terrible by PCGS, they have been all over the place. As BadThad has stated many times they seem to be protecting the high grades I would think ms66, or 66+ I would love to have in my collection. I have a ms65 no where near as good as this one from PCGS. And it's not even close!

I was thinking 66 as well. I guess that blemish in front of Lincoln's mouth stood out to the grader since they don't generally see enlarged images to pick up on smaller ticks and nicks.
