Yes, Its just a small album with only three (3) off-center error coins (cent, dime, nickel) included. Of course each is unique being errors so theres that as is the nice look for a collector. The company makes nicely presented collectible coins sets but very overpriced obviously for what you actually get as mentioned.

Dearborn, are you going to break those treasures out and send them to a TPG?

I see your joking but there actually are some good high value off center coins if you take a look at this link. https://varietyerrors.com/coin-pric...price-guide/ However a modern dime, cent and nickel, especially not in top uncirculated grade and very off center are not in the same class. Perhaps if an album like that were made a long time ago and contained some of the higher value coins, but in this case hard to recommend short of as a novelty add to a collection for the unique presentation in a large collection of error coins for added presentation and not for the value of the coins.

That Roosevelt in the listing isn't just off center. It looks like it was struck on a nickel planchet. What are the odds those three coins are genuine error coins?

Here is an old CCF thread with a little information about the issuer (PCS Stamps and Coins):

Interesting. The album is intended to contain only 3 off cent errors which are authentic error coins just not highly valuable ones, one cent, one nickel, and one dime as mentioned. If it has further error such as being struck on a wrong planchet error they may not have known and can investigate the value of such to see if that makes it more worthwhile for the actual coins vs price. I used to look for errors to cherrypick on ebay coins but of course nowadays you have to also make sure items in listing photos are the actual you will receive - so many sellers on ebay use stock photos or one sets photos but sell dozens from that same photo.

$99 for a presentation package is acceptable only if you really want it, $235 is way over priced.

I would look at some of our Mint product and asked the same.

Couldn't happen because the nickel blank wouldn't fit in the striking chamber/collar.

I don't know if there are any authentic error coins where a larger planchet was struck by smaller denomination dies.

Technically true. But do you see the size of that blank relative to the size of the design?

Too much packaging I like my 2x2's!

Seems to be a case of buy the packaging, not the coins
