That is an incredible looking quarter. Getting this one graded should be your first decision.

VG10, value around $3000. Get it graded, don't clean it, handle only by the edges.

Troutshooter, some great advice already, but if you send it in, look for only PCGS, NGC, or ANACS as those are the big and best three tpgs we would recommend... And that is an incredible find! Makes me much!

The most cost-effective service is ANACS. I don't think an astute collection would care if it's PCGS or not, but that's probably just me. I said VG10 because I think at least part of all the letters of Liberty have to be visible and the denticles complete to make F12, but it's close.

Fantastic coin to inherent! I say VG10 and definitely needs to be in a TPG slab. ANACS will be your least expensive option and I say fine for this coin since it proves authenticity to any future buyer.

to the CCF! A fantastic find! It's really hard to find an authentic 1913-S Barber quarter, in any condition, because only 40,000 were struck, and it's estimated that only 2500 survived. This is a Key Date for Barber quarters series along with the 1901-S. The limited number available makes this coin worth so much. If this was a common date Barber is this condition it would be worth about $30. Keep us updated on the grading submission process, if you have time! Your story is the kind we love to hear!
ANA ID: 3203813 - CONECA ID: N-5637 Clean a coin that may be worth collecting? Please DON'T! When in doubt, leave it dirty!!

Go with PCGS on this coin - you will get a MUCH better return on your investment if you ever decide to sell it.

Side note, perhaps interesting, I was watching Heritage and somebody dumped almost 30 of these from December thru May. I kind of suspect it was the same seller, who had hoarded them. I questioned whether selling them all in such a short period was a good strategy but they seemed to do very well.
