Here are a couple photos in a darker area to see the real color

Most of your pics look a bit odd, like maybe not a straight on shot and a bit out of focus? Maybe try a 14% or 18% gray scale background?

@john1 I put my phone about 5 to 6 in over the coin in a straight on position and take the picture with the best lighting I can possibly find and still see details and scratches of the coin because if I take the dark ones I can't see the real details in the pictures. But I have no idea how to change the grayscale on the photo when I'm taking it. I've never seen a setting on my phone that says grayscale

I have a pro mode for my camera on my phone and it has those settings on the right hand side in the picture but I don't know what any of those things mean so I never use it. I just use the regular camera mode and take pictures cuz I know nothing about the settings

Anyway, I'll say the obverse holds it to F-15.

Gray scale for the background is a piece of cardboard or cloth you put the coin onto before taking the photo.I do not remember if it is 14 or 18%?

I could go with a solid F15, perhaps F15+.

@john1 thanks. I had never heard of it before. I really can't stand taking pictures of coins because it's very time consuming and I would rather just take my time to actually look through coins and find new stuff than to take double the time taking pictures than I did to even find the coin.

Your second set of pics look fine. I'd say F-15.

Isn't there another forum for photography? I thought something went haywire for a minute here.
After it finally got back on track, I learned something about grading Wheaties instead of gray squares and shutter speeds and micro lenses.
