Tonight The Kennedy Skunk Streak Will End!

Fingers crossed for some silver in there!

At the halfway point, the streak is still in place as box # 1 became box # 15 in a row.... I still have faith that box # 2 will prove worthy of breaking the streak!!

What I thought was faith that the streak was over turned out to be indigestion.... In box 1, I at least got 5 NIFC's.....in box 2, I did not get even 1 NIFC...... and for the 16th straight time, no silver. I am still happy because it was a fun evening just breaking into that many coins... I will say that I find halves to be the dirtiest of coins with my hands always being coated... probably because I spread out other rolled coins on the mat but do the whole search in hand for halves....

Sorry I do not have a new hoard to reveal but everyone else's odds for success went up with two skunks coming off the board....

Added 2 more Skunks this week and really make that three as one box I did not even take them out as the sharpie bandit had dashed the hopes and dreams of children everywhere adding a dash across every roll indicating more than likely that they had been weighed.... I did not even get an NIFC out of the boxes that I did open..... BOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Well I just got $2000 in halves from the bank, let's hope that the skunks of 2023 have made themselves scarce and I get off to a strong start in 2024 as this is my first coin hunt this year....so far it has been all paper money as I have loaded up my ebay store with 1000 items :)

Sad but true..... 0 for 4000 tonight.... over 175 Beautiful 2021's and 2 rolls of a really nice mix of years in unc condition....but no silver, no foreign, no 1987....just lots of pounds of clad... it may be a little while before I search halves again on to quarters and nickels.....
