Looks like the loops of the 8 are relatively the same size. On Small Date cents the top loop is smaller than the bottom loop. EDIT: Added visual..........

Would love to see a clear, sharp, close-in pic of the date. With the single image above, it appears there are circulation hits in the date, which may have reshaped the 2.

Sure looks like a large date to me, but clearer photos needed.

Large Date.

the shape says small date and the gap says large date - with the hits on the 2, I say it was altered by them. the small gap won't lie.. This is a large date.

This is a large date all day long. Study this link and in no time you won't need help determining this anymore... https://www.coincommunity.com/error...oln-cent.aspI unlocked you but please check the attitude. We just don't act like people on Facebook here. That's why we're so busy.

duzzitmatterhuh: This is a large date cent - we can tell by the small gap from the tail of the 2 to the rim. The small date has a much larger gap. Now that being said, the bottom part of your 2 DOES have the look of a small date, but that is only because of the hit it took from the lower right. The metal got moved up a bit from the original location. Look at the top of the 2 - the back side of the loop. See that sudden, sharp turn it takes? that is where the hit stopped moving the metal.
