Nice find. The early 70s for some reason had a problem keeping the dies aligned.

In my cursory online research I haven't found many MAD's in the early 1970's with this extent of misalignment. Please share any images or links, if you have any. Thanks.

This is a great example showing how tilted the obv die was.

I picked this one up a few years ago from ebay pretty cheap. Seller had it listed as an off center.

NICE! I love the MAD strikes. I have a wish list setup on Heritage that sends me an email when a MisAligned Die error is offered.

I ended up with a world of misaligned dies a while back. I don't think there were all that many from the early 70's but probably this one was from the same die pair.
