I guess I can't use this in 20Q now

Sometime down the road I may well forget this

As to an estimated grade, I can put this at F-12 details (holed) at best on the obverse since Liberty is not fully defined, and maybe a tad higher to a F-15 for the reverse...

I have an entire collection of holed FEC's and IHC's, 1857 FEC to 1909 S. Had fun doing it, took awhile.

Nice to know someone out there likes them.
I have a few more with holes.

I am obviously in the tiny minority on the question of holes. Given the same-price choice between a holed coin with great details, and a terribly worn coin, I would pick the holed coin. Provided that the hole doesn't bend the coin or displace a lot of metal sideways.

It's interesting to see people's opinions on holed coins.

That's definitely the "L". I'll say VG-10 for sharpness, but not F.

I keep a small stash of holed coins--but only those that go back many, many, many years. Not a huge fan of 'em, but do have some.

Thanks Mike. I didn't set out to collect them, but you take what you can get when it's given to you.

Here's a better picture of the ribbon. Indeed it might have an L.

Totally agree. I'm nearly half way there with the Indian Head set.
Not easy from here.
