Coins are no different from any other product. If there's a market, hucksters will take advantage of uninformed consumers.

He's just pushing stuff at full retail plus exhorbitant shiping charges. Not as bad as some, but still just a huckster. Lost respect for him years ago.

I had a friend that made a game out of the tv coin huckster shows. On Friday and Saturday nights I'd bring over pizza, chicken wings, beer and Baileys and he'd call in to the shows and ask them all kinds of stupid questions. Ask for bulk discounts, senior discounts and about making shipments to different addresses. He'd ask for close up camera shots of the coins reverse, mintmarks or of the designer initials. He'd do whatever he could to tie up their phone lines as long as he could. If they'd hang up on him he'd just keep calling back. He'd know when he got under their skin when they started blocking his phone number. He'd then grab his wife's cell phone (or anybody else's!) and start using it to keep the game going. Sadly, my friend died about 10 years ago. I still stay in touch with his wife though and the tv coin show call-ins is one of the things we still talk and laugh about. Those were some fun times.

I think they hired coin-huckster coin show people to write ebay's coin listing AI.
