Nice off-center cent! Looking at an quick overlay of the dates on a 1991-D and 1992-D cent I see the bottom tip of the 1 and the bottom left edge of the 2 are about in the same location. Tough to say which it may be...

Being a D and not a P mint makes it that more desirable.

Neat error coin. I like those metal expansion marks from the reverse devices. The way the underlying zinc peeks through makes them super visible.

@Maine Member This was part of an ebay 'lot' that I purchased back in 2009. The images were of a 20-coin binder sheet, really bad seller pics, and didn't show how nice this coin was, but at that time I was buying tons of error coins, so I decided to take a chance. I bid $22 and paid $5 shipping. I was the ONLY bidder on the lot.

This was the best off-center coin, but they also sent me a pair of double struck coins and several clipped cents, nickels and even a triple clipped quarter!

It had to be the best 1 bid win I ever made on ebay.
