I agree, leave it be. Dipping will remove luster along with the fingerprints.

A dip can remove fresh fingerprints that are toned into a coin, but after the dip, some toned coins will show a trace of the fingerprints. The toning on the example is not heavy, therefore, there is a chance it could remove the toning and the fingerprints. After the dip the coin will retone faster, and it could be ugly toning. I have dipped 6 or 7 silver coins to remove toned fingerprints and a couple still showed a trace of the fingerprints.
If I was going to purchase the coin, I would not dip to remove fingerprints.

If that's an option, I agree - pass.

The areas that appear to be fingerprints is below the jaw and on the cheek. If you dip the coin the black area around the star and above the E may take the top layer of metal off the coin and show up as a white spot. There is also some strange spotting around the date.

I've dipped thousands (yes, thousands) of coins in my time. Fingerprints can, over decades, etch into a silver coin dure to several oxidation factors. I'm a fan of dipping to remove them when at all possible. Usually, they *pop* with no problem or trouble. If it's "inexpensive" enough to warrant a try I'd go for it. Dip-rinse-pat dry. There are 'Purists' who would naysay at the mere mention of dipping, but I'm not a fan of that.

If you want to try dipping, try it on problem Uncirculated coins first that aren't worth a few hundred dollars.

This coin has that fore mentioned print on it, also it looks like a pattern of plastic wrap of some sort was on it after what appears to be a spray of droplets on the surface. (maybe a sneeze)
I would pass on this one if it were my option to buy or not.
