Now that I look again, the reverse has been cleaned. I thought it was your pictures but with the white background I can tell your white balance is correct. The reverse color should match the obverse. You can see traces of the original color in the EPU near the rim.

Was the cleaning intentional? Probably not, most intentional cleanings focus on the obverse. Just a consequence of heavy circulation. Nonetheless, it's cleaned.

I edited each picture separately the best I could to bring out the features so I didn't have to take anymore pictures. That is why their is a discrepancy in coloration.

Agree the reverse appears cleaned at one point, but still think it straight-grades.

If you want, I can make it darker but the details seem to wash out a bit.........

Interesting......I always wondered if a worn die would be considered in the grade of a coin. I don't remember seeing if there is a MS example of weak reverse.

Interesting piece. I'll sit at VF30. Would have been fun to examine one of these (this die pair) when it exited the striking chamber.

Here's an example of one that graded MS-63 at PCGS. TrueView pics, not mine.

Very cool, so the reverse actually struck up with some details in the wheat stalks.
