Stay far from this dealer.

GSC does not have a stellar reputation within the mainstream coin community. Well known for doctored photos and questionable authenticity. Tread lightly, do your homework and do not accept coins that do not meet YOUR standards and expectations.
We will be patiently waiting for you to post pictures of the coin when you receive it. Thanks!

The other thing about GSC is they do have a large following of people nearly 18,000 subscribers and almost everything they sell sells at a premium relative to just about any other dealer on ebay. And as said, lots of doctored photographs and doctored coins.

I slowly scrolled down viewing your wonderful coin than spotted their logo, said out loud "Oh boy" my gfriend replied "why what happened everything ok" I said " I don't think so but we'll see in a few days"
I foresee a return in your future.

CSC may have a large following, but I doubt many of them understand what they're buying. I have personally compared 6 different coins from GSC to their posted images and the photo enhancements are clear in every case.
Great Southern Coins is one of the most deceptive coin dealers on the internet.

If anyone questions if it is the same coin from the original photos, it is. It has the same RPM and die crack through FIVE CENTS, that can be seen on all of the photos.

Thanks for posting the pics of the coin after you received it. GSC hasn't changed and won't. The seller ranking they have won't change. As long as they accept returns and comply with eBays "policies" ebay will leave them alone. With eBays "Feedback" enhancements you can now add pictures of what you actually received to the feedback you leave for GSC. Whether it will show up or stay around is a whole different story. In other words —- it's pretty much still business as usual!

On another board, a member shared a story about a cleaned CBH that was broken out and sold raw by this firm for something like 5x what it sold for in its slab. Stay away from this firm.
