Diameter? Anything odd around the coins edge? Thanks, Doug.

I think E&V has it correct.

Sorry, just got back online, but makecents, I was saying, when it's an off center strike, wouldn't the effects be seen on the same side? Like both on the east, or both on the west? This coin has the effects seen on opposite sides

E&V may be correct, CCB420. I have called out the possibility of a "Dual Misalignment Of Both Dies" a few times but was wrong every time. Maybe Mike Diamond can weigh in on this one. The information that Halo asked for would probably help. I did a side by side to show it a little better.

Here are a few links I found that have threads related to the off center strike against Dual Misalignment Of Both Dies. I'm guessing that Dual Misalignment is not as common as off center strikes.

And halo, I can't find any kind of micrometer to get an accurate width, but just at a glance, doesn't appear to be anything crazy happening on the edges

Find an undamaged cent and lay yours on top and underneath of it, sometimes you can see if it's out of round this way.

Does not always appear crazy at a glance, but sometimes can be subtle. I find going by eye may work in some cases. Other times not so much. Just a bit more food for thought below. Thanks, Doug.

Still hunting for a micrometer, but when placing the coin between 2 others, it's possibly a bit bigger in diameter, but too little to see with naked eye! Nothing appears wider really and can't find any cracks in the collar so far!

But that would typically happen on the same side of the coin
Yes off center is going the same way, dual MADs can go any direction independently.
