jpe, try over 800 of them... with another entire box left with probably just as many. Dude got almost 1% of the entire mintage. They really weren't distributed properly. At least if you really have to have one, he'll still be selling the cheapest ones on ebay into next year.

Something smells really fishy about this whole mintage and distribution thingy.

Does the left hand of the Mint really know what the right hand is doing?

You want to believe the U.S. Mint, but the facts are starting to say otherwise.

"Bearing no mint mark, these unique quarters will be placed randomly into circulation, offering Americans a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to discover a piece of history in everyday transactions."

It's only been 3 days and the Buy-It-Now prices have drop to as low as $650

ebay seller estepj hit the jack pot

31 sold at $850+ and they still have another 18 listed

A lot of people with FOMO are going to have regrets when these drop down to the sub $500 range.

Another ebay seller that goes by BCHC LLC sold 10 lots of 10 for $5000 each

There's a roll hunter on youtube who found 815 in his first box and he has another box he is going to save. Yikes.

His youtube channel is RobFindsTreasure.

I read that Rob didn't find any in the first box and then found 815 in the second box.

I think ebay seller BCHC LLC is out

His last listing was for 50 quarters for $40K

He doesn't even sell coins on a regular basis

The Philly Mint was open on July 4th

If you took a tour or went to the gift shop you got a free July 4th Quarter.

Re: the 250 2.5 oz "quarters"

Once they get slabbed, I suspect Stacks-Bowers will auction them off. . .the edge marked numbering will goose the prices a bit too. . .further proof the USM is plowing ahead with producing intentional rarities for the high-end marketplace.
