I'll say low EF details (cleaned, perhaps damaged). Unnatural coloring.

XF straight - nice looking coin. Toning appears good to me.
I swing a metal detector and have a knack for finding dirty old coins.

Below are the Heritage Auction Photos. The coin has a thin layer of toning in the protected areas and parts of the fields that my photos picked up. There is nothing not natural about the toning. The toning appear to have happened in the old soap holder. The coin was straight graded by ANACS. It may cross to PCGS at the same grade.

Hard to believe this is the same coin. Are you saying that the original mottled images are incorrect ?

It depends on the amount of light on what toning can be picked up on the photo.

I purchased the coin from the Heritage photos. My thought was that the skin looked original form the Heritage photos, but I did have a concern that the example may be a little too dark.

I like the color, looks decent enough especially for a tough type. I do have issues with the rim damage. That is pretty distracting for a straight grade coin.
