It's a VF25 for me as well, but I have it closer to VF20 than VF30.

That's a beautiful piece so I'll guess VF30 with nice eye appeal and no major contact marks. I'd hope for a 35 if it were mine, if they graded it 25 they went conservative given the overall appearance of the coin. Yours is better than this PCGS VF30 currently at Great Collections. https://www.greatcollections.com/Co...30#gallery-3

VF30 nice colour and surfaces . Original collectors coin! Looked at the Great Collections coin . Not even sure that one should straight grade! Look at the obverse scratch!

Very nice, I'll say VF-35, might even tag a 40.

Beautiful collector coin. I'd say Vf-35 is realistic

Thanks all! You all were right on. PCGS graded this one VF25 and it has a CAC green bean. Definitely a conservatively graded coin.

That's a nice original coin with consistent eye appeal. VF-25 yes, but it would get a bourse floor eye appeal price bump above grade. There are a lot of problem coins of this date, but it's definitely a tough depression-era coin to find with eye appeal. Well done!

Maybe even 35. If it was graded in the last year or two when the top TPG have tightened up, then I understand a 25.

the two hardest grades imo for morgans is discerning the difference between VF25 and 30. overall the coin has enough there for VF30. i'd be ok with a 25 grade and the bean
