LDS on both sides. these early halves are tough to determine what a TPG would call. all depends on how well versed they are in strike issues. some better than others.

personally I grade this by the higher devices due to strikes. I'm seeing an AU53 coin based on that

whats going on with the zero in 50 on the reverse---looks weird---checked my book out and none showed like that--

That and it is a worn die being struck with 218-year-old mint technology

Agree it's likely from a worn die. Here's a similarly late stage die on an 1807 O-112 from a Heritage listing that shows a nearly identical misshapen 0 on the reverse.

I dont think I have ever seen a worn die that displayed that sharp of device. comparing other ones, the date also exhibits this. ok then, add that to the knowledge base.
