@LeroyZ - not really an expert - a student - but my take is that what you are seeing could be rub, or a shadow or the lit vs dark portion of a reflection, kind of how when a coin cartwheels, there are dark and lit portions on the coin. It is difficult to tell from a photo for everyone. Sometimes there is a difference in the texture of the surface and that helps but doesn't seem to be the case here.

@adam - yes, it is in a slab and I will post the TPG grade in a couple of days.

Not sure why this is a 3 as opposed to any other mint state grade.

thats a pretty big scratch over the bust. they were quite lenient on that one.

panzaldi, From the OP pictures, I think I see "Die Clashes", not scratches...

Correct, those are die clashes. Typical for the O-109. I think the grade is accurate.

Ya my bad. thats some serious clashes especially the motto above the date. jeez they had that stamp cranked up. you can see the flow lines along the rims

anyways, the reason I had her at 63 and not 64 was mainly due to the missing luster across the cheek and bust area. I could see it with a + though

the lighting is not the best as there are shadows in several areas
