Harder to do marker work without pictures of both coin faces. That year has a bunch of similar DDRs, so it's almost certainly going to come down to mint mark placement and markers.

I agree Brandmeister ,I compared whatever markers provided by VV and this one matched to none!

To be honest, I think this is unlisted. Between MM location, markers that should show in the pics provided, and differences in the doubling, particularly the M in America, I don't see anything that matches. I think WDDR-022 is the closest. I didn't look at VV though.

Look at the markers I came up with on VV's 001 around the mm and see what you think. I personally think it's a match. Maybe shadows or damage hiding the splits on FIVE CENTS on the listing, not sure. I find it crazy that it was not mentioned though. The comp pics are from two different die stages, yours and VV's but think it's enough.

I thought that was a strong possibility given the little grooves in the D. However, that's also a common mode of Die Deterioration on nickel mint marks of that era.

Thank you all, your opinions are always appreciated ,makecents, thanks for the comparison photos you couldn't be closer , when I was comparing registries to mine before posting this topic I did notice similarities in doubling of the devices but considering the presence of metal flow on almost all of the Nickels and particularly around the mint markes minted on this year I am still not too convinced and yet again it could be an earlier stage of VV DDR-001 or simply un-listed one.
Thank you: E&V,Brandmeister and Dearborn

That is obviously a very late die state, perhaps that is the reason you're having trouble matching it?

That may be but there are no references to doubling on the FIVE CENTS any where.
