Excellent picture, I would agree at least MS-65.

Very nice photos, they look almost as good as what you might see in an auction catalog. Well done! Were the photos taken through a slab? That adds an extra challenge.
What is that mark between the 1 and 9 of the date? It almost looks like part of a drastically re-punched date digit. If it is a scratch it could bring the grade into question. At the MS-65 level coins should be free of significant "hits" in the prime focal areas, including the date.

I'm not seeing MS65 either because of the "hits" Jaobler is talking about. Those are nice pics, though.

Do you guys think we should go ahead and have this slabbed (NGC) to verify the grade?

I think I would. 63 bids for $120 and 65 for $600. It definitely would help if you need to ever sell it.

Quote: look at the cheek! Those marks are tiny. This is a dime. ( edit ) And that is quite a nice dime, by the way.

CoinValues online lists an MS65 for $900. Numismedia, which is the "Official Price Guide of NGC," lists an MS65 for $730. Thanks for the input guys, we're sending it off to be slabbed.

I think it is a 64 for sure, not sure if it's a 65.
