The box has the scuffs you would expect for it's age, but the coin is nice. I have your address Nancy. Will be in the mail today.

Quote: I was born free, yet imprisoned at the same time. Again, into circulation, and imprisoned in a plastic box. Tricky! Congrats Nancy on your guess! Btw, has anyone here been to the spot of Cook's unfortunate death? It's an isolated spot in Hawaii, near the aptly named town of "Captain Cook". Australia has built a memorial there to Captain Cook. It's also a great place to dive, snorkel and kayak. If you ever get to Hawaii, check it out.

Told you it was cryptic Actually, I was trying to pad the questions. Soon as someone guessed 50c I knew it would be over. Next contest will be in a couple of days.

Congrats! Now that this is all over, what is that coin with the Aboriginal man on it? I know I've seen one, and it was an attractive coin, I just can't seem to find out more about it... .

Are you thinking of the $2?

Yes, the twin question was the spanner in the works Australia issues so many commemoratives, not many catalogues are up to date. Krause is missing quite a few circulating commemoratives, and most of the NCLT. Here is a link to the twin. Note the date on the coin. http://www.australianstamp.com/Coin...1989250c.htm
