I'm going to say VG-10, still a very nice 09-S. One that I still need in my collection.

Though there is some rim damage, it's minor and the coin is still gradable.

F-12-F-15 details(TPGs are lenient with key dates). Very nice coin and original surfaces, but the rim bump would probably render a details grade.

LIBERTY is not full, so that would not be F-12.

VG-10?

...it's still better than mine, which I don't have.

success,

LIBERTY is not full, so that would rule out F-12.

success,

My apologies for the duplicate reply!

I'll say F12 details because I can see LIBERTY and overall it looks consistent. I won't factor in the ding because I cannot see the rim.

|Liberty does not have to be full on f-12 it just has to be readable. Nice coin!

The PCGS guide says that for a F-15 grade "Some letters of LIBERTY are weak or partially missing." This coin should earn an F-15 details grade but I agree the rim ding is severe enough to constitute "damage" for a TPG service.

Your brighter pair of photos make the coin look like it's been cleaned. The darker pair however show a natural-looking, even patina. Which photos give the more accurate view of the coin?

I have the same impression that it has been cleaned. I would fo G-10, but not higher.

The color is like the second series of pictures. (The lighter ones are to show details better).

IMO, I don't believe it's been cleaned.
