The Maryland State lottery did just send me a check from a subscription that I got as a gift last year...$3.00. Yep. I love these finds! Got 11 of them in 2x2's and the rest sorted for roll storage. Fun. I'm like a kid again..:D

Very nice. I have been doing cent rolls with my boys and have yet to get a single Wheat cent. I did get a few rolls of all damaged coins :(

That might truly be the only roll of unsearched Wheat cents I've ever seen!

Nice find. That was obviously at the bottom of someone's bin somewhere...for a LONG time!

Sick roll. Congrats... I never run into CWR's as every bank around me has counting machines.

This is about as close as it gets to an unsearched roll. This was a very old stash! My guess is someone died, the person cleaning up just took the roll(s) to the bank and cashed them in as change. An absolute collectors dream! The next best thing to this is having a friend or relative give you some "old coins" they have laying around. These two methods are as close as you'll ever get to an "unsearched" roll.

yeah...i agree Thad and others. somebody either had this roll in the bottom of coffee can tucked away in a closet for years or something of the like. I might put the equivalent of the 40's and 50's back into circulation. Might find its way to a young collector.

Congratulations! My most recent research ended up with 5 wheat cents out of 500 cents.

dollarcoins, yeah that's about what my typical was...about one wheatie every four rolls or so. This happened to me before with Buffalo nickels. I open a customer wrapped roll to find 45 buffalos with dates. The good ones, some pictured were 2x2ed and put into plastic sheeted binder with the rest of the nicer cents.

Awsome, why I love getting customer rolled coins. Nice 09 VDB. Got a few rolls a month or so ago that were scattered with wheats, nothing valuable but it was nice pulling 20+ wheats from each roll.
