I am happy for you as you now finish your set again. Sometimes we don't value things until we no longer have them. Congratulations to you.

I think that you are quite safe with this seller Bryan (despite the early bugle blowing). Right at a week ago when you mentioned the disappointment of the one that got away at $365, I thought to myself; 'well, at that price I am rather glad for him that it 'did' get away, there will be another, more reasonably priced coin. This is a very nice looking coin here. I am very happy for you now. (I 'have' learned not to share any secrets with 'you' though).

Bryan1315 Bryan, very nice snag on that piece! You certainly are right, those don't come around very often especially for that price. I think the economy is going to make for many more additional fantastic opportunities!

Sometimes I will bid on the high side on specific coins to try to assure I get them and if I am out bid well I am fine with it, even though I would have liked to have had it, not at that price

Oh. Wow. Top Pop, if it is, and you're back in #1 on the Registry.

alright I have received tracking information from this item but first of all I want to apologize for jumping the gun and posting this without being able to really indulge all the information on why I got so excited. This is a VAM-70 which is a top-100 coin (the only Top-100 coin in the 7Tf B1 reverse series) as was noted above this is a Top pop coin in this condition for this specific VAM so I got really excited to win this auction. Also noted above even though I will have to send some of my coins in for attribution to their respective grading companies before this happens, this is the one I needed to bring my #2 registry set back in the #1 position. here is enlarged pictures from the auction and if you look closely you can see the doubling on the bottom of RIB in PLURIBUS along with the die chips and other attributes which make this a VAM-70

Actually, the doubling isn't as obvious in the pics as I expected. It was the chips, particularly the one below the nose, that made it obvious for me. That qualifies as a great cherrypick.

yeah I wasn't 100% sure looking at the RIB either until I saw the chips where they were supposed to be

That's high, that's deep, and that's not playable.

Looks even better than the auction photos. The motto may have doubled in the mail though.

What is the value of that VAM compared to a normal coin in the same grade?
