Quote: I think I'll edit this post every once in a while after a few coins have been added to the set, to keep track of my progress. I have a 17-D Type 2 coming from ShadowCreator, but here are current pics of my set. This is just a suggestion. If you edit the pictures, post the updates down here. Some people might not know what has changed. By the way, for those that did not notice, he uploaded some better pictures!

Those are GORGEOUS wheatguy! I especially like the 1919, and 1923. I always thought I would be a "type set" only guy, but this series has really "swept me off my feet"...:-) I may post my set so far, but I don't even have a proper album yet(just ordered one). I'm using my Washington quarter dansco and some improperly labeled washington pages.

Jbuck and Nickelsearcher, thanks. Next time I update the pics, which won't be for a while, I'll post them down here. Don't want to make it too hard for dial-uppers and those with slow connections to look at this thread, as I have too many pictures in this thread as it already is. Some have been pretty hard to track down, but it's been a really rewarding and fun journey. Johnny and Nickelsearcher, remember to eventually post pics of your SLQ sets!

would any of you suggest roll hunting for SLQ's? I would like to know if there is a decent success rate of finding them by going to the bank and buying boxes or customer wrapped...

I don't know if anyone already suggested this, but you should remove the plastic sliders before taking the pictures. Just remove the slider for the side you're photographing and replace before photographing the other side (if you do that).

Halfwitty, I don't think SLQ's would appear very often, as pre-64 quarters are hard to find, let alone SLQ's.
Prethen, good idea, I should of done that. I'll definitely remember that in the future.

Be sure to update your album photos when you get a chance with your new purchases. It is fun to see all the slqs together as a family. :-)

Awesome! It is really coming together and looks fairly well matched. Amazing accomplishment at your age.

Thanks, although I definitely need to upgrade a few coins in the 25-30 range.

Yeah, I think if we combined the best out of both of our SLQ sets, it would be looking pretty strong. As a matter of fact, I think you should send me yours so we can find out! Great idea, eh? I promise I will take good care of it, and post pictures here of the combination! Do jedi mindtricks work over the internet?

Please, I really don't want to do that. I think it's really rude of you to make a suggestion like that. Sorry, I had to make a little joke of my own.
