Also a bracelet.

Fortunately the coins on this are plastic.

I suppose this could be considered a novelty- someone sure wasn't using it for its intended purpose! It's a 1991 D, if anyone was wondering :) Picked it up outside of a shooting range.

I also had a tie clip with a 1903 Indian Head penny on it, but promptly destroyed the clip to remove the penny.

Don't you just want to know what coins he used? I hope it's just spit and not superglue.

I wonder if that ship is solid coins or just a shell? Either way it must weigh a ton!

We'll call this a "novelty." I didn't think so at the time, and we won't share what I thought when I realized what it was

I saw this thread the other day and I was putting something away in the china closet and saw this Kennedy rocker. I think John F. Kennedy had a famous rocker that he sat in that helped him deal with the back pain he had. He suffered from an injury when the PT 109 he commanded was cut in half in a collision during WW2.
This has been in my Dads den since around 1968 or 1969. An old family friend gave him this and we have other small carved figures and sculptures from him as well. It is handmade and painted and a 1968 D 40% silver clad half dollar is glued to the seat. Looks like it might have been AU or BU when it was placed there.

Wheezy,
I see the rocker, I see the Coin, I even see the 3 leaf clover to show that Kennedy was Irish. But what the heck is that other thing?

Kinda looks like a tribute to future President Bill Clinton.

I don't own these but I wish I owned the 2nd one. The last 2 are just observations of real coins.

Van Buren and Larry too much! But that picture of Hillary Clinton is going to haunt me in my sleep for weeks now.

Oh that was too funny what you said after that! (shown actual size) It is actually supposed to be a clay pipe.
Any leprechaun should know that.

I saw this post the other day and didn't have any pictures of it, but this is an 1889 Guatemala 25 cent coin made into a key chain. I dug it out of the ground last summer.
