You've been here long enough now to know about that outfit ... tell your Mom to stop doing that!

Agree also on the 31-S and 1900-O. They won't attribute the VAM unless you pay extra for it. If not rare, I would not recommend attribution.

yea the VAM on the morgan is not rare. so do you think I should still get it graded? or should I try and find a nicer older coin from my collection and have that graded? I have some nice old LWC, and some near MS 50-60's quarters... not sure what would bring me the greatest value.. any tips on evaluating my collection?

SD,

If this is your plan, I would not submit the 1900-O Morgan. Pick a coin that has value and lends itself to counterfeiting/altering. Slabbing definitely increases consumer confidence. That 1900-O is a very common date and would not earn much of a premium in a slab in grades below MS65.

I would go with the Morgan and the 31-S.

i realize with the franklin, its common, but the ones I have, I was so sure they would have FBL's... if that is the case, then submitting them would be good yes?

Near MS 50's and 60's Washington quarters would be worth melt, or perhaps a small premium.

Not all FBL Franklins are valuable. Submitting the 1963 would most likely be a waste of money. Yes, it could be FBL but it would still not be worth much. The 53-D would only be worth slabbing if it achieved at least MS-65 FBL, which I doubt it would get.

Ask to have the Morgan VAM attributed, if it is in ms63 or better grade!!

Just my opinion.

I mean is will only cost me $19 for the shipping costs... sigh.. not sure what else to slab.. maybe one of my other LWCs? I mean the 31 is the only semi-key.. what about my type coins? here is a link of some of them...
