Hi Bryan
Very nice coin,, It wont go PL at least from the pics the fields do not have enough depth,
Question what is on the chin ? is it just lacking the frosting ?
MS-65

Even given PCGS's recent trend toward keeping MS grades down, I would be surprised if this 79-S rev of 79 didn't get MS-65. I think the few face rubs would keep it from MS-66, but I could be wrong. To be on the safe side, I'd also say it wouldn't surprise me if PCGS sent it back as MS-64.
I'll be curious to see what the others said.
What a beautiful Morgan!

Looks like the group is in general agreement on MS-65 or thereabouts. I would not want to label a Morgan as prooflike from images - there's no depth of field in images. C'mon, Bryan, give it up. The whole world is watching! Fred

Good Job TLS !!!
I marked it as 65 because of what appeared as a patch of hairlines or rub in front of liberties nose ,, it still looks like hairlines or rub .

Good shot, TLS!
Bryan, why'd you send it to PCGS? I thought you were strictly NGC? You sure came out ahead on this one!

MorganFred I just recently joined PCGS's collectors-society club so I could get some of my morgans in PCGS holders attributed (I asked the Knights if they were any members so I could send to them and them send to PCGS for attribution instead of joining myself but no one was a member so I went ahead and joined) This coin in the picture was a coin that was purchased not one I submitted. But now I am a member of NGC and PCGS if anyone wants me to send in something for them just let me know and I will gladly do it, them just pay for shipping and submission fee's. The reason I joined PCGS's club is I just didnt want to have to cross all my PCGS VAM's just to get the attributed
