I think the people who've sent emails to the guy saying to get it slabbed should cool it. Sure, he obviously doesn't know anything about coins, but that's not a crime. He isn't getting serious money for it, and it obviously isn't a genuine error, so why care? I'm sure many of us have seen a coin that we thought was valuable but wasn't. Just my Two Cents worth.

After reading all the Q/A, I figure he's had enough of a barrage.

I'm sorry but the auction itself should be enough warning. If some one buys the coin based on the pictures and description then They deserve what ever they get. Yes its entertaining to read and bait the seller. If enough interest is generated in forum world the auction view counter will show unusual interest. Some one might actually buy the coin based on the view count thinking with this much interest there must be something to it.

5 bidders that obviously have no idea what they are doing. Well if there is one good thing that came out of this, now the seller can finally send it off to PCGS :P

Here's a thought- the person who bid and had top bid was a newbie with 0 transactions. I suggest that this bidder is a shill and seller was hoping for others to bid this up based on the shill.
