I'd say it's worth more than a circulated Mercury dime, they aren't really that common. An uncirculated or AU Mercury of a better date would be a good trade. I'm nearing 100,000 nickels searched and haven't come across one. JMHO |

wow this find is better than I expected. I dont usually search nickles only halves, but when I found this one I just kept it. I just remembered about it a couple days ago so I decided to put it up.

I was searching ebay for an auction to get a price range for this coin, but none were listed at the time. I did stumble across a different auction for an error quarter that I did manage to pick up. Sorry I couldn't find a price range for you. |

oh sorry, adam5 its not a rotation its just the way I scanned the image. I rotaed one picture but forgot to rotate the other. Hey its fine coop, I actually sold it for $20. I wanted to sell it to save up for a 1916d Mercury dime |

yeah I was actually wondering that too, I dont think it was minted like that it looks like someone put a hammer to it because its sort of popping out.
