It all started out as an illustration for a book, then turned into a business that has helped me through years of meager self-employment. Believe me, I am glad that I have this to help me out, because without it I would have a hard time surviving. Again, if anyone can think of a subject they would like to see a drawing of, let me know. I am always open to ideas.

Great pieces. After the holidays I'll send my order. Oh forget it. It's going in now! Please pack them carefully. I have not had great luck in pruchasing art over the internet. Something always gets damaged in shipping.

Most certainly...If you want to make a multiple item purchase, you can just total the amount and do a "send money" transaction to "cd@coppercoins.com" for the total amount indicating what you are ordering in the comment section of the transaction.

I'm considering trying to open up the "shopping cart" thingy on Paypal, but have not yet had time to do that. This would give me the option of allowing people to order more than one item at a time. Unfortunately for now, all I had time to put together was a buy now button for each one.

I think a female designed that Washington modern commemorative half dollar. Without looking I am pretty sure as at the same time there was a female Director of the Mint as well.

The designer of the Washington half, plus several commemoratives, was Elizabeth Jones. Other than the Washington hlaf I think her best work was the obverse of the 1988 Olympic $5 gold.

There was a female Director of the Mint from about 1961 through 1991. Eva Adams 1961 - 69, Mary Brooks 1969 - 77, Stella Hackel Sims 1977 - 81, Donna Pope 1981 - 91. There were also female directors 1933 - 53 Nellie Taylor Ross, and 2001 - 2005 Henrietta Fore.

Wow Chuck - you are very talented!

They should have let you design the reverse of the 2010 cents!

That's what I've been thinking too. To bad you couldn't have the USMint let you make the reverse of the latest Lincoln Cent. This latest one really stinks.

I've always just typed in https://www.coppercoins.com
So is there also a cdaughtrey.com ?
And/or a cd@coppercoins.com. ?

Beautiful work! Hats off to you. You are blessed with pure talent. Maybe the US Mint should have you draw up some designs for our coins. The presidents are boring IMHO. Again, extremely great work!

Nice work! Is it just me or does Adolph A. Weinman look exactly like Mr. Hand (Ray Walston) from the movie Fast Times at Ridgemont High?
