I would think that selling like that would be risky. If you sell to some gullible kid and he realizes he's been had the feedback wouldn't be good.

I notioed in his feedback someone wasn't happy about receiving broken marbles.

The feedback from these 'unsearched' rolls is very telling.

This one is CLASSIC. The guy sells rip-off coin rolls and also had this "OLD CARSON CITY Morgan dollar" listing for $3500.

Scroll down to the description and it turns out it is a picture of a Carson City dollar drawn by his mom.

ROFL!

Doesn't matter, ebay will remove negative FB from buyers. I know, they did it to me.

HA in that "collection" photo nearly every penny shows the obverse:

I would bet that the few coins showing the reverse are the only wheats in that entire set. I don't see a whole lot of Indians in there either.

I only bid on two of these type auctions to fill a few holes from the ends and everything else was junk. I always keep an eye on some that I know will be disappointing (high dollar ones, for example there was one selling what looked to be 2 bu vbd on the ends and the bank rap was from S mint. I looked at the guys feedback and he did the same thing 7 months ago and everything in the lot was junk besides the two bu 09 vbd but paying 250 for the roll. Its too obv that these are staged rolls

Wouldn't be surprised that they had the rolls custom printed.

Wheat rolls that "just happen" to have a vdb and an opa token on the ends?

I only bite on these auctions when there's an 1856 FE cent showing on both ends.

These are all over ebay and are being sold by shady sellers. People are paying $20-30 on average for a common date IHC on one side, and a LWC S reverse on the other. Avoid all this.

UPDATE: ebay pulled the original listing. Others are still running, like where he offers rolls with a Roosevelt end for $15, or Merc for $20 ( ebay violation).
