vermontensium- All notes will be listed auction style on this site once there is interest shown for them. That way anyone can bid. I'll be listing auctions starting tomorrow.

Everything is temporarily being put on hold due to an offer on the complete collection. I will keep everyone updated if it falls through.

Please show where in my listing it says to "make an offer"... I didn't think I saw it there either...
I'm simply trying to find out if there is any interest in buying any of the notes I have available. If there is, they will be listed in the auction thread so all interested can bid. There is no discussing pricing or best offers here. I simply don't want to list tons of notes that no one is interested in in the auction thread overloading it for no reason. If a mod has a problem with the way I went about this I have no problem apologizing and deleting this post... Thanks for your concerns robbudo.

BTW, an early Congrats on your proposal. I gave my girlfriend a ring back in June. Engagement rings are not cheap. I was thinking about all the coins I could have......anyway, my sick coin mind :-)

I had an individual(not from this site) that is offering to buy the whole collection. I want them to have the oppurtunity to see everything in person so they know exactly what they are getting. There is a total face value of $3k in my complete collection and selling it in one shot would be easier for me then listing individually that's why I am considering it. I will keep everyone informed if it falls through. I do apoligize for the hold up.

I think your practices are rude and dis-respectful. Many people have replied to your request,to contact you if interested, then you state someone "off this site" wishes to buy your collection.I did as you asked.ike others, replied.
I do not think you listing HERE the "things you wish to sell here ", was respectful, self-serving yes, I think this action speaks volumes about your character........Good luck, to ALL who replied!

All of the rude comments were unnecessary, especially with the 'Send note to staff' option. (Which one person used, bringing this to my attention, thank you!)
bvalania is being very up-front about this. He is not asking for offers, just opinions. He has things for sale and is looking for interest before setting up an auction.
The problem is that the rules do not really say where a thread like this belongs. I am sure if it were posted in the Main Forum, it would have similar comments attached to it. That being said, I am moving it to the forum it does belong in. Again, a simple mistake on bvalania's part easily resolved with a note to staff.
The next person to post a rude comment will get a one week vacation.

jbuck- Sorry for listing my topic in the wrong section. Thank you for understanding what my intentions are and moving it to where it belongs.
To the members- I'm sorry that these notes may not be available if the person wishes to buy my entire collection. Please understand I'm working 11hr days, 6 days a week, and then trying to be a good father by spending as much time with my 4month old little girl as I have. With that being said I find it hard to believe that you wouldn't see it from my point of view that selling it as a whole would save me a great deal of time (something I don't have allot of). I would love nothing more to sell each piece individually the way it should be, believe me I'm taking a loss if it sells as a whole. I do apologize to any of those who took offense if you think I went about this in the wrong way.
And to the member who emailed me talking crap, I'll gladly meet with you to show you exactly what kind of character I have. I don't appreciate it nor do I think you should hide behind a cpu screen...

Quote: And to the member who emailed me talking crap... Harassment on the forum is not tolerated, public or private.
If anyone uses the forum "Email Poster" or "Email User" functions to send threatening or harassing messages, you will earn a permanent vacation.
No exceptions.
If you are being harassed, please send a note to staff immediately!

bvalania, if you receive an offer to purchase an entire collection of over $3k in face value alone, then you would be foolish to NOT take that offer considering how much work and effort it would be to image, price, sell, and ship each note individually. Sure, you have some stuff I would love to purchase as well but I also cannot compete with a multi-thousand dollar offer and I fully understand that. BTW, if it does fall through, I would love a chance to bid on some of the $2s and errors
