MS67+. You may get the first PCGS "+" on the MS67 of this series! If so I'd be willing to make a $50 offer on it if it did!

The small spots in the field are too noticeable for a 67 grade. This coin is much more likely to grade MS66RD. That's still a heck of a nice coin considering the absolute junk most 1984 cents are.

If NGC grades it - possibly so...but the marks are too numerous for MS67 at PCGS.

And it is very highly likely that coin didn't look like that when it went into the holder.

Whoa....I guarantee that coin didn't look like that when it was placed in the holder. It was either cleaned right before submission and the effects showed up later or PCGS mishandled it.

I'd have to agree PCGS would be much more conservative on this coin, I called it 66 RD. fenton I use an Olympus 500UZ (6 megapix/10X optical zoom with super macro mode) on a black cotton glove with overhead incandescent lighting. Nothing special but tends to work for me ;-)
