palaniappan - After my work this summer, I plan on doing a semester in India that involves hiking the Himalayas and rafting the Ganges. After, I will be spending a week or so in Mumbai... Pune to be exact. I can bring a Morgan and send it domestically if you wish. Send me your email and perhaps we can work something out later this year. I can't figure out how to do the PM thing, so if you know how shoot me a message.
cipster - if there is anything that will make someone break into their coin or bill stash, it is gasoline! Or maybe some munchies...

A very attractive coin although it is very common. It is worth its weight in silver and that is about it in the condition it is in.

As others have said, it's worth a bit more than bullion. It seems that the coin (nice circ piece, by the way) would have more value to you as a keepsake.

Dr. Sandman2, You have got to be kidding about the Morgans used to buy gasoline! The man must have known that the coins were old and most likely were silver. I guess this man was pretty hard up for gas and incredibly stupid!
