I was wondering what happened to that box of coins I lost. Fantastic finds so far. Must have really hit the jackpot with this one.

Those are just a few "bad pics" of the FIRST group ! I still have 10 rolls left to go through, but I'm battling my wife for computer time, so I'm gonna list my second group of findings ! 1929 1929 1929 1927 D 1926 1926 1926 1926 D 1925So.....no "key dates" so far......but it continues to be the best box I've ever had. Once I get done with these last 10 rolls, and the wife goes to bed, I'll do a complete findings update.....and maybe try some better pictures of the better conditioned ones. WOOOOOO HOOOO ! .... (by the way.....I went back to that same bank this morning when they opened and got another box ! ) ...

Out of the last 10 rolls I pulled these..... 1929 D 1929 1927 D 1924 S 1923 1920So, by my count, that's 29 "pre-'30" Wheaties from one String & Son box ! (I will update the original list above to consolidate all of my dates found, in the morning) By the way, I did not count any "common date" Wheats that were 1930-1958.I would guess around another 10-15 or so of these "commons". '52 S & '53 S, were two of them. I don't know yet, if any of these are upgrades to either of my two albums or not, but they are all "coin-tubed" and sealed up for now ! .... Dare I hope that my second box contains more of the same ? ....

No, I don't believe so Pennyman. I was sure hoping to find a IHC in that box too ! It's been a very long dry spell for me on those..... I won't go back and "consolidate" the list (can't edit after 24 hours anyway).......it's all there in three parts for everybody to check out anyway. Instead of mixing all "Pre-'30" Cents in tubes......now I'm thinking of going back and sorting through the dates to see if I have enough to have some "date tubes".......Like all 1910, or all 1920..... (I probably don't have THAT many though!)

.... I'm one of the few who believe that you can't win even if you DO play ! .... (but, as I said earlier, I DID go back and get another box of Cents (and nickels) from that same bank though !) .... Lightening strike twice ? .....maybe ! ...

Update with the second box of Cents: ZERO "Pre-1930" Cents ! And about 10 common date Wheats.......couple Canadians, and that's about it ! And I almost forgot...... I did find a Steelie !! ....a bit rusted, but, never found one roll searching ! Oh well....the other box sure was fun ! ....
