I'm sure people have already PMed him saying they'll buy it. Best way is to put into 1 large lot, post a ton of pictures, and do it all here. You'll get fair offers and good prices.

If you try to sell it on this forum, think of this: 1. NO paypal fees 2. NO lost in the mail routines. 3. NO ebay fees 4. NO insurances, tracking, deciding methods of delivery 5. Almost all here are, hopefully, trustworthy, except me of course. 6. You would get the most honest values possible compared to coin stores, coin shops, coin shows, ebay, other on line places. 7. AND you might get an offer for the entire collection. |

Sell it here. Might seem like a hasle, but it is no more than going to fleacebay.
NO FEES! This adds up to a lot in a quick hurry.
You will realize more money selling off individually as well.
Dibs on the Lincolns! :)

selling each coin or set will maximize your return. But it will be time consuming and tedious. The forum has no fees but you can probaly get more on ebay. I would put it on ebay as 1 big lot and post a link here. |

Thank you all for your comments. I believe I have made a decision and that is to list them all here. I have been on this forum (although not lately) since I started collecting. I will start taking pictures soon and will probably start by selling off the Mercury dimes and Liberty nickels first. Varying grades abound. It is lots of work but I would rather the collector base here end up with them for all the friends I've made and I know that the people here are good people. I have one drawback however, I do not have a checking account nor do I any longer have a Paypal account. All got frozen because of a vindictive ex-wife who saw to it I could not have either. I have back child support to pay on my son who I didn't even know was my son for 13 years of his life. So, I have to figure out what to do with that as well and how to get paid and get the coins to the people that want them. Quite a quandry but I suppose it will be figured out. Ended up with a new family a couple of years ago and now have a Harley I want to fix up a bit so time and money for coins is pretty hard to come by these days. I will try to get some of them up this weekend, perhaps start with some of the better ones. |

spaceace, I got your e-mail and will get you a list first of the Liberty nickels and will let you have first shot at any of them. My grading is maybe not spot on but I get pretty close usually. Will get you a list and pics as soon as I can. Probably won't be tonight as my granddaughter is here and it would be near impossible to do with her here. She's only 20 months old and is a pistol. |

I would agree with the above comments re selling individual coins, at least the more expensive ones. You had fun collecting them, take the time, and have fun selling them.

I believe not just acloco and I but many collectors on here are into Lincoln so I am sure you will get good pricing (equal to or better than ebay) for them as long as they come with good pictures. I also want a dibs on the Lincolns! :) |
