It was just different...I have found plenty that look like the ebay listing but this is the only one I have seen with what looks to me like DDD

Can't really tell by your photo but I'm guessing MD. The e-Bay photo posted looks like a MD also not a DD, IMHO.

Well, like said above, the MM is too blurred to really tell, but I can see someone really looking at the MM may see it as an RPM.

I'm leaning to RPM myself. I really don't see a triple punch, though.

The doubling in question is flat shelf like. Nothing in the center is doubled. So it is Machine Doubling.

That photo shows the tripling a lot better. It looks like MD to me.
