It took me 16 minutes longer than I wanted it to . I looked through all the coins from India first, then started at A in my Krause. So, Bermuda was close to the beginning. I stopped there, but I'm sure that there are probably some more.

does a U.S. 1 cent count? It is a circle which only has 1 "side".

I do not know what geometry freaks would say about the matter, but I personally have never thought of a round shape as being onesided. If you want a coin with one side I would be more inclined to look for a teardrop shape with a point in one end.

Well this coin isn't square, but it has a square inside it and the number 4. Does this count? Steve

It is not exactly what I had in mind, but I definitely want that one too. Thanks for the tip

Quote: There is a quarter klippe from Germany, 4 sided Fantastic! An inverse corrolation, 4 sides and 1/4 denomination. A wonderful combination I will most surely try to get one of those as well, thanks for the tip augsburger

All coins have 2 sides obverse and revers.
Quite a lot of 2 values out there

Quote: All coins have 2 sides obverse and revers Angielczyk - this is technically true, of course. But it is impractical for describing purposes. What would you say about a square coin? Six sides - one front, one back and four on the side? Or something else entirely? If you have a good alternative, let me know. I am always interested in expanding my language skills.

Maybe the word you are looking for is edge.
Then a square coin would have two sides and four edges.

Quote: Maybe the word you are looking for is edge Indeed! That sounds much better. Thank you for the suggestion As for a coin with denomination equal to the number of edges, if anyone should stumble upon one beside the Bahamian 3, I would be grateful for the information.
