I am thinking it could go, G-4.

Nice find.

With some of the strikes that year, it could go to G4.

Good example of how the weak reverses for this year pull down the overall appeal of the coin.
Big difference with the rim between the obverse and reverse.

G-4 details, corrosion. That could be pretty nice looking with a little conservation.

what do you mean "with a little conservation"?

I am going to put it into a snap-tite, since it was one of the more HTF pennies I own

The coin has a few traces of verdigris which will gradually continue to eat away at the coin. If you're not going to conserve it, rinse it with acetone and put into an airtite brand holder (the snap ones are NOT air tight at all).

You should definitely get rid of the verdigris or risk having a damaged coin (surface eaten away) in a few years.

Drop BadThad a PM. He has a product and will explain expectations.
