Nothing has changed. 30/40 seconds to download a page. It's only on the CC forum that I experience the problem. Should I take my computer to hospital or just give the forum a miss, it darn frustrating. Any comments would be appreciated. Regards

Att: Bobby131313. I'm still having trouble with loading times, 30-45 seconds average time per page. I only have the trouble with Coin Community forum. Have had my computer checked by two professionals and both reckon the problem is not at my end. Is it possible to have a further check at your end. It's very frustrating having to wait so long to download and I hardly use the forum as a consequence. Hope you can help, regards.
spelling correction.

Muckeye, I must say I'm at a loss, as noone else is reporting issues.
What browser and OS are you using, let's start there.

Last night 12/22 we had trouble getting on to the CC for awhile. We have not been able to use Spell Check for about a week now. Can't spell good at times and it sure was handy.

The spell check works fine for me. Did you switch or upgrade your browser? Did you change anything about the time it stopped working? What happens, does the button just do nothing?
There are backups of the database that are run every night, so there may be a few minutes each night that are a little "wobbly" depending on your timing. There's really nothing we can do about that, as I'm sure you realize backups are necessary.

Muckeye, go here and run the tests. Select the Dallas Texas server and post the results here please.

Thanks Bobby, way overdue on moving. Haven't had any problems since. Who knows, maybe sun spots, full moon or even just a bad day for my server.

Thanks Bobby, I realize the need for backups and there are very important. We have a backup system and an outside storage system ourselves. You asked what the message was when I tried spell check. It reads as follows; "An error was encountered with the server. Please try again later." The problem may very well be at our end and we research possible solutions. Thank You

Well, the spellchecker uses the dictionary on Google's servers, if that helps.
Anyone else having problems with the Spellchecker?

Operating system, which you gave me. Did you run the test above? Also, what speeds are you supposed to be getting according to your ISP?
