Hey Nancy, I'm glad I wasn't the only one in Oz having trouble on Friday night. I had trouble loading anything, not just the Forum. Tried for 2 hours and went to bed in disgust. All OK now but a bit slow at times.

ScoutJim, I am still running IE6. Sometimes my own posts do not update on my version as well without hitting refresh. I would say that 95% of the time though, it does redirect me back to the page and I can view what I had written. Probably just another program that will cause everyone to install 300 updates throughout it's existence until the next version comes along. My Two Cents anyway.

Hi, is anyone still having 'slowness' problems. It's only on this Forum that I experience delays in loading times, anything from 30 sec. to a minute? Does the Forum itself still have a small prob.? regards,

I have no issues with the speed from home or at work. Home is wireless, work is T1. Although sometimes at work, the volume of people takes it to the speeds you are seeing. At home it's as quick as any other site on a cable modem.....

Nothing has changed. 30/40 seconds to download a page. It's only on the CC forum that I experience the problem. Should I take my computer to hospital or just give the forum a miss, it darn frustrating. Any comments would be appreciated. Regards

Att: Bobby131313. I'm still having trouble with loading times, 30-45 seconds average time per page. I only have the trouble with Coin Community forum. Have had my computer checked by two professionals and both reckon the problem is not at my end. Is it possible to have a further check at your end. It's very frustrating having to wait so long to download and I hardly use the forum as a consequence. Hope you can help, regards.
spelling correction.

Muckeye, I must say I'm at a loss, as noone else is reporting issues.
What browser and OS are you using, let's start there.

Last night 12/22 we had trouble getting on to the CC for awhile. We have not been able to use Spell Check for about a week now. Can't spell good at times and it sure was handy.

The spell check works fine for me. Did you switch or upgrade your browser? Did you change anything about the time it stopped working? What happens, does the button just do nothing?
There are backups of the database that are run every night, so there may be a few minutes each night that are a little "wobbly" depending on your timing. There's really nothing we can do about that, as I'm sure you realize backups are necessary.

Thanks Bobby, way overdue on moving. Haven't had any problems since. Who knows, maybe sun spots, full moon or even just a bad day for my server.
