1970-D Date Error

Hello again
Guess I am going to be a real pest. I have over 45 lincoln
cent error coins. So a few at a time. This one shows the 0
being folded over. The 0 inpression is still on the coin.
I guess I need to know what type of error

most of the forum members are in bed now since its 3:00 A.M. EST (me I just have no life and pain keeps me getting up all hours of the night) but I am sure someone will be able to help when they get around to coming to the forum later in the day

Looks like post mint damage, most likely from a rolling machine

I'll venture this guess..very likely post-mint damage; as ziggy previously posted.as coins are wrapped (after being counted) the 'crimping' of the end(s)of the rolls, often leaves circular scratches,gouges on the surface of end coin(s).I've seen many,many of these 'markings'and even to the point of receiving brand new coin rolls with this damage occurring on the end coin(s).hope this helps.. keep looking and happy hunting

Not guessing here...it's counting machine damage for sure.
