Any ideas on good systems or just create an excel spreadsheet? There are lots of things to keep track of and I would like any feedback on inventory software people are familiar with.

Excel I guess... you can create your own database but that would be too troublesome...

We have used several different commercial products over the years, and Excel is by far the easiest to create, use, and update. Since we move quite a bit of inventory, the commercial products are quite limited. If you only update your inventory base a few times per year, any of the commercial products would be fine.

Thanks for the feedback..I have looked at the Carlisle site, but it seemed expensive. I will look into the Liberty Street site.

Compared to your collection? Now I don't recommend using any commercial program, but it should be the features, not price that dictates whether you should use it.
