Verm! Just took delivery of my first Colonial issue! I'm so excited about the history of this coin.

What do you all think? =)

Hmmm... nobody wants to take a stab? It's heavily corroded, but there is a lot of detail. I figured G6 - 8ish. I've also been thinking about giving this one a soak, mainly to stop the verdigris but also to see if I can perhaps remove a layer of crust.

Anyway, all opinions welcome. =)

Actually, VG details, corroded. As is so common with these heavily corroded Connecs, an attempted cleaning has been attempted. A soak would only help and not hurt this particular coin :-)

I think its way better than VG personally, maybe VF....just that the details have been badly obscured by the heavy corrosion.

Interesting! The seller sold it as VF, but I didn't believe it for a minute. I figured VG... I started a distilled water soak tonight, I'll fill you in if there's a change!
