Looking for your thoughts on a Details grade. I got this at a bargain IMHO Always hard shooting through these slabs. swcoin.ecrater.com

Metal flow on those brassy planchets seems to be resistive and yields to a soft strike appearance. Wear on the devices looks like VG10 or F12 range, taking into account that the weak lettering in LIBERTY could be a result of the planchet itself. I would have expected a Genuine slab with enviro damage as the cause. nlp

I agree with VG10. Too bad for that bit of pitting, as the surfaces are otherwise quite exceptional.

I would also go VG because of the letters in liberty but its a nice coin for the grade.

F-12 all the way, reverse helps it.

I'd go VG-8, and need one of these in my collection. :)

Thanks guys. It's not a bad looking coin except for that pit on her cheek. I'm not sure if this coin spent some time in the ground or otherwise. More than likely. Yeah, it has some little gold streaks all through the coin. Interesting. Anyhow, VG+ Details is where I put it :-)

yeah, VG-10 details. Needs some major deductions unfortunately. I think the asteroid crater on the cheek alone prices it down to AG-3 and there are other issues too. In a PCGS slab, I'd value it at about $550. $500 raw.
