Well the year is over and its time to show off! Post your favorite, most valuable, rarest or most interesting roll searching find from last year! This can be anything from a huge Cud on a quarter to a pile of silver dimes! Heres mine: one many have seen already. I cant help showing it off again! 1982 No P Roosevelt dime

Today I picked up two boxes of pennies and both of the boxes were all 2011 brand new pennies. Anyone want 99 rolls of new pennies?

My best roll find of 2011 was a 1951 proof nickel FS-05-1951-101 (doubled die) Sadly, these pictures are the best I can do.

Those are two amazing finds! The best thing (in my opinion) that I found all year roll searching was a 1996 major die break (or Cud) nickel. Those two finds make me want to go coin roll hunting right now! If only the banks were open at midnight...

My best find was 4 mercury times in one roll. Not bad considering I've only searched one box of dimes.

Mine was either finding $18.25 face in silver coins, including an 1899 Barber dime and 1893 Barber quarter, along with five silver halves (a combination of Walkers and Franklins. A close second would be finding two solid rolls of silver, which included Franklins, '64 Kennedys, and 40% Kennedys.

Quote: My best find was 4 mercury times in one roll. Not bad considering I've only searched one box of dimes. Keep that memory close, because it's not likely to happen again. If I found four Mercs in a roll, I'd never search another roll in my life as I know I would never be that lucky ever again. Who am I kidding? If I found four Mercs in a roll, I'd go back to that bank and buy every single roll they had in inventory! LOL!

My best find has to be the 1937 Buffalo nickel I foun in the cash register at work. May not have been worth the most, but it was that coin that got me interested in the hobby. And the one that led me to find this site.

ericmckeown, that makes it a great find. You should put it in a 2x2 and label it as such. John1

I originally put it in a folder but went ahead and upgraded so I could do just that.

1941 DDO Die#1 I consider this my best roll find simply because I have only looked at about 60 1941 LWC all year. So I was really lucky to find this one. My other "best" is a 1971 DDO Die#1, but I have seen hundreds and hundres of 1971 LMC, so the 1941 was a better find.

I fetched from a roll a mint-state national park quarter with a Cud on it. So far, I've seen no other national park Cud quarters on ebay, so I'm sitting on it and seeing what happens in the future.

My best find this year was almost a full roll of silver from a half dollar box. Happened two weeks in a row actually.

"Today I picked up two boxes of pennies and both of the boxes were all 2011 brand new pennies. Anyone want 99 rolls of new pennies?" Slavac I'd take them sir
John: Wow that is so bold! Most of the 88s I've looked at I have to bust out my microscope. I've heard one die for two mints 1/800 for Philly or Denver, GJ Sir
my best find was prolly my Indian head , my proof cent or a
little GEORGE V SILVER THREEPENCE 1919. I've heard people on "realcent" go through thousands without finding an Indian Head.
