Last night, I went through one single nickel roll at work and finally found something worth keeping. I find 40's nickel's all the time, and occasionally a 39 D, and I save those as well. But this is my second War Nickel found in the wild. It's a 45 P, and I was pretty happy with it. Fortunately and unfortunately, my neighbor, that same night gave me a few coins, one of which was the same exact 45P. Sort of trumped my find, but either way, here's the one from the wild!

And is anyone else hoping he picks off that string at the bottom of the pics?

War nics are always nice to find. Still lots of pre 50s Jeffs in rolls. Sometimes I find so many that I have to sell them at my coin club auction for barely over face value.

Not a bad looking War Nickel, either, compared to the near slicks that I have come across in rolls. Nice!
