Maybe because the OP posted it back in January. The pic was directly linked from a now-defunct Bulgarian auction.

OK Thanks a lot. But it was interesting to learn that a coin from Gangra was found on the territory of Bulgaria if I understood well.

Really ? That's very very interesting. On a former paper I wrote, I noticed that coins from Sinope were also found in Crimea and on the Bulgarian territory. It looks that it is the same with Gangra. Very interesting on the question of the circulation of these provincial coins.
I am impatient to see it !

Hi T0rress,
Do you have now pictures of your Gangra coin ? I'm still interested in it.

Quote: Did you remind what type it was? The original coin had a reverse that showed buildings or houses (maybe just one large building?) osiris, I think the text (GammaANGammaPΊN) ran horizontally across the bottom of the coin and the structure, whatever it was filled most of the coin in size. The structure did not look anything like a campgate or temple or any other buildings I have seen on an ancient coin. I would recognize it if I saw a similar example, I remember it well as I liked it very much and had not seen anything like it anywhere before. I dont think we ever 100% IDed it so cant give you the 'accepted description'. Sorry to 'jump-in' but I have not seen t0rress posting recently and I hoped I could help. I would also like to learn more about coins from Gangra, do you have a website for your papers?

Maybe I just found it http://www.harvardartmuseums.org/art/196145I'm 99% sure (t0rress would need to confirm) that the above is the same / very similar to the original coin posted here, although in much worse condition.
